Tangy Feta Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1/2 (4 ounce) package crumbled tomato and basil feta cheese (such as Athenos(R))
    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup milk
    1 tablespoon coarsely chopped capers
    1 clove garlic, minced
    salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
    Mix feta cheese, butter, milk, capers, garlic, salt, and pepper into the potatoes. Mash with a potato masher or electric mixer to desired consistency.
