Holiday Cappuccino - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 fluid ounces hot brewed espresso
    12 fluid ounces half-and-half
    2 fluid ounces brandy
    2 fluid ounces amaretto liqueur
    1 fluid ounce vanilla extract
    4 teaspoons instant hot chocolate mix
    4 teaspoons white sugar
    4 teaspoons whipped cream, or to taste
    1 teaspoon chocolate shavings, or to taste
Preparation
    Stir hot espresso, half-and-half, brandy, amaretto, vanilla extract, hot chocolate mix, and sugar together in a saucepan over medium-low heat until the sugar dissolves; cook at a simmer until hot, 2 to 3 minutes. Pour into 4 mugs and top each with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
