Potato Soup With Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 potatoes, diced
    1 cup diced fully cooked ham
    2/3 cup finely chopped leek
    1/3 cup diced celery
    1/3 cup diced carrots
    1/4 cup butter
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon dill
    1 bay leaf
    salt to taste
    coarsely ground black pepper to taste
    48 fluid ounces low-sodium chicken broth
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, ham, leek, celery, carrots, butter, garlic powder, dill, and bay leaf in a slow cooker; season with salt and pepper. Pour chicken broth over the mixture.
    Cook on Low for 8 hours.
