Coconut Flan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
    1 cup white sugar
    3 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup shortening (such as Crisco(R))
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup finely grated unsweetened coconut flakes
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
    Beat condensed milk, evaporated milk, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth. Add shortening, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and ginger; beat until smooth. Stir flour and coconut into milk mixture until batter is smooth.
    Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
