Slow Cooker Cheesy Mushroom Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 teaspoon butter
    1/2 pound white mushrooms, sliced
    5 large Yukon Gold potatoes, quartered and sliced
    4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup milk
    1/4 cup minced onion
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 tablespoon garlic salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation
    Heat olive oil and 1 teaspoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir mushrooms in butter until tender and browned, about 10 minutes.
    Stir cooked mushrooms, potatoes, Cheddar cheese, milk, onion, 2 tablespoons butter, garlic salt, and black pepper together in a slow cooker.
    Cook on High until potatoes are tender and Cheddar cheese is melted, about 4 hours.
