Ingredients

2 cups water
1 cup dry lentils
1 pinch salt, or to taste
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons white sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped radishes
Preparation

Combine water, lentils, and salt in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; stir in balsamic vinegar and sugar. Cover and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until lentils are tender, about 20 minutes.
Transfer lentils to a bowl. Add radishes; toss to combine.
