Blackberry Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups fresh blackberries
    1 cup white sugar
    1 tablespoon butter
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
    1 pinch salt
    1/4 cup water, or as desired
    2 flour tortillas, cut into 1x3-inch strips, or more to taste
Preparation
    Combine blackberries, sugar, butter, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir until blackberries start to break down, 5 to 10 minutes. Stir flour and salt into blackberry mixture; add water until desired consistency is reached. Bring to a simmer.
    Place tortillas into the simmering blackberry mixture; simmer until tortilla \"dumplings\" are tender but not soggy, about 5 minutes.
