Walnut Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 3/4 c. flour
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Beat until light.
    Stir in nuts and flour until well blended.
    Wrap in waxed paper and chill well.
    Pinch off small pieces.
    Roll in hands and shape into crescents.
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Put on ungreased baking sheets and bake 18 to 20 minutes. Remove to rack.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 5 dozen.
