Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
3 bananas, diced
1 c. boiling water
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. chopped pecans
Cool Whip
Preparation

Stir jello into the boiled water until dissolved. Add strawberries, bananas, pineapple and pecans. Pour 1/2 of mixture (I use a 12 x 9 Pyrex dish) into dish. Set into refrigerator for an hour or until firm. Set the other half on the table so as not to set. Spread Cool Whip completely over the set dish. Add the rest of the mixture over the Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
