Lon Piergues Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. diced veal and pork
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. bead molasses
    1 Tbsp. chop suey (soy) sauce
Preparation
    Fry meat.
    Add onions.
    When brown, add celery, 2 cups water, molasses and sauce.
    Cook until meat is tender.
    Thicken with 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
    Mushrooms may be added.
    Serves 2 generously.
