Hard Rock Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2/3 c. white corn syrup
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. flavoring
1 tsp. food coloring
Preparation

Mix the sugar, corn syrup and water in medium saucepan. Insert candy thermometer. Bring to 300\u00b0 or hard crack stage. Remove pan from heat. Quickly add the flavoring and food coloring; mix.
Pour onto well-greased cookie sheet.
Allow to cool and crack into bite size pieces.
If desired, you can sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
