*Caramel Nut Acorns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter or margarine, melted over low heat
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. finely chopped pecans
    1/2 lb. candy caramels
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Stir brown sugar, vanilla and pecans into melted butter or margarine.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
    Shape in round balls.
    Flatten one side by pressing on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Pinch top to a point to resemble an acorn.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
    Cool.
