Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. lukewarm water
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Sift together salt, flour and baking powder.
    Add shortening and mix well.
    Add water and mix well.
    Turn out on lightly floured surfaces and knead, 50 strokes.
    Divide dough into 12 equal parts and form balls.
    Cover with a cloth and let rise 15 minutes.
    Roll pour into greased inch circles.
    Cook on a low heat, skillet ungreased, until done.
    Wrap in towel to keep warm.
