Carolina Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1 medium pepper, minced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1 c. vinegar
    2/3 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Shred cabbage (coarse or fine, to your liking).
    Add pepper and onion; mix together.
    Mix sugar, salt, mustard and celery seed.
    Add vinegar and oil.
    Bring to a boil; stir until sugar dissolves.
    Pour over cabbage.
    Cool to room temperature; cover and refrigerate.
    Serves 6 to 8.
