Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 can coconut
1/2 lb. dates
2 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. orange peel
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 pkg. orange slices, cut into small pieces

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
All ingredients should be cut up fine.
Blend well and pour into a floured and greased tube pan.
Bake in a 275\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
