Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salted peanuts
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine the sugar and corn syrup in 3 quart microwave casserole and cook for 4 minutes at 100% power.
    Add the peanuts and continue to cook another 3 to 4 minutes.
    Next, add the butter and vanilla; continue to cook for an additional minute.
    Finally, add the soda and gently stir until mixture is light and foamy. Pour and spread quickly on a greased, flexible baking sheet.
    Cool for 1/2 hour and break into small pieces to finish cooling.
