Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
dash of salt
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. chocolate flavored syrup (canned)
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add salt.
Stir in chocolate syrup, flour and vanilla.
Add nuts and stir to blend well.
Turn into greased and lightly floured 8-inch square micro-safe pan or dish.
Microwave at High power for about 3 minutes.
Let rest for 3 minutes. Microwave at High power for another 3 minutes and let rest for 3 more minutes.
Finally microwave at High power for 2 more minutes or until batter is set and done to your liking.
Let rest in pan for a couple of minutes or until almost cool.
Cut into squares. Remove from pan and garnish with nuts or powdered sugar.
