Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 1/2 (32 oz.) jars Ragu spaghetti sauce
    1 lb. Ricotta cheese
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    3/4 lb. lasagna noodles (9 noodles)
Preparation
    Slip noodles into boiling water (add 1 tablespoon cooking oil so noodles won't stick together).
    Simmer meat with onion and garlic; drain meat mixture.
    Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
    In a 9 x 13-inch pan make layers starting with meat, then noodles, Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella cheese; continue to layer.
    Top with Mozzarella cheese.
    Bake 40 minutes in a 450\u00b0 oven.
    You may also add layers of cottage cheese in this.
