Pecan Pie(My Mother'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. syrup (white or dark)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 or 3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add the other ingredients and stir well.
    Pour in unbaked pie shell.
    Bake until done.
    Start baking at 400\u00b0 for a short time, then lower to 350\u00b0 or 300\u00b0 at last.
