Sticky Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 very ripe tomatoes
2 c. brown sugar
2 to 3 c. bread crumbs
1/4 lb. butter
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Skin and core tomatoes and place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, then remove from oven and place on slow burner on stove.
