Diet Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    4 ribs celery
    46 oz. tomato juice
    2 to 3 c. water
    shake of pepper
    1 small pinch sweet basil
    3 sprinkles seasoned salt
    4 carrots
    1/2 head cabbage, shredded
    6 beef bouillon cubes
    1 big pinch dried parsley
    3 sprinkles thyme
    2 sprinkles garlic salt
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Chop vegetables; combine all ingredients in large kettle, cover and simmer at least 1 hour.
    Remove bay leaf before serving. Makes about 3 quarts of soup, about 30 calories per cup.
