Chicken Country Captain Wisconsin Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying-size chicken, cut up
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. butter
    1 onion, diced
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. currants
    toasted slivered almonds
Preparation
    Dredge chicken in flour which has been seasoned with salt and pepper.
    Brown in oil.
    Saute onion and green pepper in drippings until soft.
    Add curry; cook 3 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, thyme and currants; cook 3 more minutes.
    Place chicken in baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Garnish with toasted almonds.
