Seafoam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites 1/2 stiff; add cream of tartar.
    Beat stiff. Add sugar, then add yellows one at a time.
    Lastly, add the flour and vanilla.
    Bake slowly for 35 to 50 minutes.
    This cake can be iced or cut in squares and covered with whipped cream.
