Cherry Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 pinch salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick butter or oleo (room temperature)
    1 (10 oz.) jar red cherries, drained (reserve 1 Tbsp. juice)
Preparation
    Grease 10 1/2 x 8-inch pan or dish with butter or oleo.
