Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs (separate whites and yolks)
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
juice of 2 lemons
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Add egg and beat. Now, add lemon juice, blending well, then add water and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add butter. Beat egg whites until creamy and gradually add 3 tablespoons sugar and a pinch of cream of tartar. Beat until it forms soft peaks.
