Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans chopped clams
    2 c. clam juice
    6 stalks celery, thinly sliced
    6 to 8 carrots, peeled and diced
    4 to 6 crisped slices bacon, crumbled
    2 c. water
    potato flakes (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all except 1st ingredient in large stockpot.
    Cook until vegetables are tender.
    Add clams and simmer.
    To thicken, add potato flakes to desired consistency.
    Add seasonings that you prefer.
