Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (10 oz.) bottle 7-Up
red food coloring

Preparation

Mix and boil everything but strawberries and food coloring until clear and very thick.
Cool completely.
Add to the mixture the quart of strawberries and food coloring.
Pour into a large baked pie shell.
Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip before serving.
