Shrimp Croquettes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped shrimp
2 Tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. evaporated milk, diluted with 1/2 cup water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 c. vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Heat butter in a skillet.
Fry shrimp until pink in color. Add garlic and onion.
Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add mixture of flour and milk.
Cook until smooth and thick, stirring frequently.
Remove and cool.
Divide into 12 equal portions.
Shape each portion into an oval shaped ball.
Dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs.
Deep fry in oil until browned.
