Mama'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening with pastry blender.
    Stir in buttermilk. Turn out dough onto floured board. Sprinkle with more flour.
    Pat or roll out dough to about 3/4-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 450\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
