Chocolate Brownie Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. broken pecans
Preparation
    Melt butter
    and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Pour into a medium-size bowl; cool slightly.
    Add eggs, sugar and corn
    syrup.
    Beat\twith
    rotary beater until well-blended.
    Stir in\tvanilla
    and
    pecans.
    Pour
    mixture
    into unbaked shell. Bake on lower shelf of a moderate oven at 375\u00b0 for 40
    minutes. Cool thoroughly.
    Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if you wish.
