Sawmill Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 or 1/4 c. Crisco
1 or 1/2 c. cornmeal
3/4 tsp. pepper (black)
3/4 tsp. salt
2 or 2 1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Cook first four ingredients until brown.
Add milk and cook until thick.
