Dolores' Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 qt. popcorn (20 c.)
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil the first 4 ingredients together for 5 minutes; remove from stove.
    Add the vanilla, baking soda and salt.
    This will foam up.
    Blend and pour over the popcorn.
    Put the popcorn in a roasting pan; pour liquid over the popcorn.
    Place in a 250\u00b0 oven; cook for 15 minutes.
    Stir every 3 to 5 minutes.
