Hamburger Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger, browned
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 bouillon cubes (beef)
    6 c. water
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1 1/2 c. celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/3 c. barley
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. catsup
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1 large can tomatoes, cut up
    a few bay leaves
Preparation
    Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours, then remove bay leaves.
