Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. can crushed pineapple
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. cottage cheese
    1 box orange Jell-O
    1 small can Mandarin oranges
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
    1/2 c. fine crushed nuts
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and oranges.
    Hold Jell-O and 1/2 of Cool Whip to the side.
    Mix all other ingredients.
    Sprinkle powdered Jell-O onto fruit salad.
    Top with Cool Whip as served.
