Kentucky Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. shortening
    5 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Dissolve the soda in the buttermilk.
    Mix yeast in warm water. Add buttermilk and yeast to flour mixture.
    Mix until moist. Place in refrigerator.
    Use as needed, or roll 1/2-inch thick and cut.
    Dip in melted butter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
    Or you may let rise 1 hour before baking.
