Cinnamon Nut Brunch Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 Tbsp. softened butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. Carnation evaporated milk
    1/3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, nuts, butter and cinnamon; set aside. Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well.
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
    Combine Carnation evaporated milk and water; stir in vinegar.
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk mixture to creamed mixture; blend well after each addition.
    Turn half the batter into greased and floured loaf pan(9 x 5 x 3-inches).
    Top with brown sugar-nut mixture.
    Spread with remaining batter.
    Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
