Round Steak Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round steak (6 to 8 pieces serving size)
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/3 c. oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. marjoram
    9 oz. tomato paste
    3 c. hot water
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
Preparation
    Pound meat with mallet.
    Dip meat in beaten egg; roll in mixture of Parmesan cheese and crumbs.
    Heat oil in skillet and brown steak on both sides.
    Lay in a shallow pan or 9 x 13-inch dish, then in same pan, cook onions until soft.
    Stir in seasonings and tomato paste.
    Add hot water, stirring constantly, scraping brown bits from pan.
    Pour sauce over meat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 covered for 35 minutes.
    Uncover.
    Put on cheese and bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbling.
    Serve with rice.
