7 Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Cook sugar and water in a saucepan.
    Let boil until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water.
    Beat egg whites until stiff. With beater on high speed, add syrup to egg whites, beating constantly.
    Beat until it forms soft peaks.
    Add vanilla.
