Mamaw'S Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 oz. chocolate or 1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Boil first 5 ingredients 1 minute and turn off heat.
Let set on stove and continue to heat a little while longer.
Remove from heat and put in cold water.
Beat until spreading consistency. While beating add powdered sugar and vanilla.
