Brisket In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef brisket
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 (12 oz.) cans beer
Preparation
    Season brisket with salt and pepper.
    Place in a roasting pan. Pour beer around brisket and cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
    Remove meat and strain off grease from the pan.
    Add enough water to the pan drippings to make a rich gravy.
    Cut the meat into thin slices against the grain and serve with the gravy.
    Serves 6 to 8.
