Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    juice and grated rind of 2 lemons
Preparation
    Combine sugar and flour until blended with fork (no lumps). Add melted butter, salt and egg yolks; beat with mixer until smooth.
    Add lemon juice and rind.
    Add milk slowly.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold in with whisk until blended.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake for 40 minutes until brown at 350\u00b0. Check at 30 to 35 minutes.
