Lemon Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. crushed vanilla wafers (half to be used for bottom of dish, other half for the top)
    1 can Eagle Brand sweetened milk, beaten good
    2 beaten egg yolks
    juice and rind of 1 big lemon
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Add egg yolks, juice
    and
    rind
    to
    beaten milk.
    Pour this over bottom layer of
    crumbs.
    Top this with a thin layer of whipped cream.
    Cover with remaining crumbs and chill.
