Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices white extra-thin bread
    butter
    1 lb. sausage
    1/2 lb. grated cheese (sharp)
    4 eggs
    3 c. milk
Preparation
    Trim crusts away.
    Butter bread.
    Cook sausage, scrambled. Drain.
    Place 6 slices of bread in 3-quart casserole dish. Spread half of sausage and cheese over bread.
    Repeat bread, sausage and cheese.
    Beat eggs and milk.
    Pour over mixture. Press down to soak.
    Refrigerate overnight, uncovered.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 6 plus.
