Plain Cake Layers For Strawberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. White Lily self-rising flour
    1 2/3 c. granulated sugar
    2/3 c. cooking oil
    1 1/4 c. sweet milk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    16 oz. frozen strawberries, sliced
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, oil, milk, eggs and vanilla.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 in 3 (9-inch) greased and floured cake pans about 30 minutes or until done.
    Cool well before icing.
    Take a drinking straw and punch holes in the layers.
    Put strawberries on first and let soak into cake.
