Savory Potato-Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried mustard
    1 1/2 tsp. steak sauce
    2 c. milk
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 c. stewed tomatoes
    pinch of dill weed
Preparation
    Put first 4 ingredients and 1 teaspoon of salt in kettle. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Melt butter and blend in flour. Add remaining salt, pepper, mustard, steak sauce and milk. Cook until smooth and thickened. Add remaining ingredients and potato mixture. Simmer for a few minutes.
