Sweet And Sour Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) rump roast
    2 tsp. salt
    2 medium onions, sliced
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 large chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Using 6-quart sauce pot, brown meat in shortening; season with salt and pepper.
    Add onions, mix water, tomato sauce and garlic; pour over meat.
    Cover and bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours; mix remaining ingredients.
    Pour over meat; cover and continue baking for about 2 hours longer, or until meat is tender.
    Serve the delicious sauce as gravy.
