Rhine Lander Cheese Fondue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. processed Swiss American cheese
    1 c. water
    1 c. wine (Sauterne or Chablis)
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. Accent
Preparation
    Grate cheese. Bring water, wine, butter and seasoning to a boil.
    Add cheese and set in double boiler or a fondue pot.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    If too thick, add more wine; if too thin, add more cheese. Eat with bread sticks or 2-inch squares of rye bread. Cheese will burn easily, so watch closely.
