White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    3 c. Swans Down flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. sweet milk
    6 egg whites
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add vanilla and almond flavoring.
    Add egg whites one at a time.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes in two 9-inch round pans lined with waxed paper, greased and floured.
    Ice with One Minute Chocolate Icing.
