Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with buttermilk.
    Bake in tube pan in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
