Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1 pt. or more whiskey
    1 qt. milk
    1 qt. whipped cream
Preparation
    Separate 12 eggs.
    Beat whites stiff and add 1/2 cup sugar. Fold in and set aside.
    Beat yellows and add 1 cup sugar; add 1 pint or more whiskey to yellows and sugar, then add the milk and the whipped cream to egg yolks.
    Fold in egg whites and chill. Makes about 1 3/4 gallons.
    Better if made night before serving.
